There’s Something About A Walk

There’s Something About A Walk

It’s the pace.

It’s the breeze.

It’s the awareness.

Walking seems to be the pace of the spiritual life.  When we slow down, things start to make sense and become more clear.  If we observe life at 3 miles per hour instead of 100, we don’t feel as stressed or anxious.

If we are to find our calling, our true vocation, I am convinced we must slow down.  How can we listen to the Voice of Our Creator when our Air Pods are on blast while we’re jogging on the trail?  Is it possible we are running from our own reality?

Slow down.  Breathe.  Live life at that speed for at least a small part of your day.

We need the pace.  The breeze.  The awareness.
